Meet the Founder
— Kirsty Foster

Hi, I'm Kirsty. Mum of 3 gorgeous boys (and one dog), wife & qualified teacher.

In 2019 I moved to Brisbane from NZ with my family.

Since having kids we had never really lived in the same city as family — being an Air Force family for many years, we didn't get to choose where we lived and we moved around a lot.

The move to Brisbane was to be near family and to live the beachy Aussie lifestyle.

It was great having family around, finally, but now I had a new problem... I had no friends!! (maybe you can relate??)

How does one make friends in a new city?

Making friends as an adult is hard. Making friends as a mum, with a pram in one hand and a school pickup in an hour, is harder again.

So we made the part you can control as easy as possible: free, local, and nobody has to arrive knowing anyone.

So I started a facebook group 'Social Mums'.
Unbeknownst to me, this was the first step to a new career path — one that has filled my cup in so many ways.
